Some of us daydream all the time. In school our minds wander as we look out the window instead of listening. Some of us draw in the margins of our worksheets instead of following directions. While it is unfortunate for grades, there is a little artist gremlin growing inside. Feed it picture books, drawing supplies, coffee table art books, coffee, sci fi novels, and space to be bored and let the mind go fishing for ideas. Take your daydreaming seriously.
